Aug. 17 meeting to call a senior associate pastor
Stay tuned! Sunday, Aug. 17, there wil be a congregational meeting to call a senior associate pastor, after the recommendation by the Nominating Committee was offered at the Session meeting Aug. 4.
New worship time at Antioch
We will change our worship time to 10 a.m. beginning Sunday, Oct. 5. We began a process of discernment this spring that culminated with Coordinating Council and Session meetings. Many thanks to those of you who participated in the survey process and engaged in good and faithful conversation around how best to meet the growing needs of our church family. We look forward to the exciting educational possibilities before worship—as well as maintaining (and growing) the warm, post-worship fellowship we are known for!
August sermon series
This Sunday, Rev. Dr. Rodger Nishioka will dive into a short sermon series that will use scenes from “The Chosen”—a historical-drama television series about Jesus’ life. Aug. 24 is Youth Sunday, where our young people plan and lead worship. And on Aug. 31 (Labor Day weekend), both campuses will enjoy a hymn sing featuring favorite songs of our faith.
