First Annual Prom

We had a fantastic time getting dressed up for prom, learning new dance moves, and singing at the top of our lungs. A huge thank you to Greenwood Social Hall for letting us host our first annual event in their incredible space. Check out our upcoming events below to join in on the fun!

Looking Ahead

Connect Groups

New connect group videos from Rev. Dr. Rodger Nishioka will be released in September. As we approach that fall kick off, we hope to create even more young adult connect groups for the coming year. If you are currently in a connect group, please still fill out the form below.

If you haven’t heard about connect groups yet, they are small groups of no more than 8-10 people that covenant to meet once a month for faith and fellowship together. It is an opportunity to form deeper relationships with fellow young adults in the congregation.

Fall Retreat

Save the dates for our fall retreat Nov. 7-9, 2025. We’re currently searching for an Airbnb within a couple hours of Kansas City. More details and sign-ups to come!

Manna Retreat – January 2026

Join fellow Village young adults for a weekend away in the mountains of North Carolina! This year’s theme is “Prophetic Voices: Courage, Justice, and Hope.” We’ll fly out together on Thursday and return by early evening on Sunday. If you need a scholarship to help cover some of the cost, please fill out our scholarship application form. $150 deposit due on registration, remaining balance due by Friday, Dec. 12, 2025. 

Scotland Pilgrimage – July 2027

Maggie and Ellen are working to gauge interest in a progressive pilgrimage to Scotland with Young Adult Ministry in 2027. The estimated cost is $3,750 for a 10-day trip and would include time in Edinburgh, Glasgow, and the Isle of Iona. At this point we are trying to see if there is enough interest to get a group of 20; filling out the interest form does not commit you to anything.
