Chicago Mission Trip: Serving, Learning, and Exploring Together

Earlier this summer, some of our youth traveled to Chicago for a week filled with hands-on service, meaningful conversations, and big city experiences. The group partnered with six incredible organizations, each located in a different neighborhood, and learned firsthand what it looks like to care for others in practical, thoughtful ways.

Service highlights included:

-Painting a mural with Elawa Farm Foundation
-Sorting books at Bernie’s Book Bank
-Gardening with Build Chicago
-Packing food boxes for Nourishing Hope
-Assembling international meal packs at Feed My Starving Children
-Creating clothing bags for children through Share Our Spare

Outside of service time, we worshiped with Fourth Presbyterian Church, explored the city, enjoyed deep dish pizza at Giordano’s, and even caught a Cubs game at Wrigley Field. With 8 students and 5 adult leaders, it was a full and joyful week of connection, discovery, and faith in action.

Summer Programs Are in Full Swing!

Space Still Available for the Middle School Float Trip

There are still spots open for our upcoming Middle School Float Trip, and we’d love for your student to join us. This three-day, two-night trip is a great opportunity to build community, enjoy the outdoors, and create meaningful memories before the summer ends. Students will travel together, float in inflatable rafts, stay in cabins, and spend time around the campfire.

Trip Dates: July 22–24
