green tip of the week
Make it Airtight – When you add up all the cracks around the windows and doors in an average home, it’s equivalent to a whole window being left open all winter long.

You may have heard the phrase, “Give with a cheerful heart.” It refers to the biblical teaching in 2 Corinthians 9:7, encouraging us to give willingly because God loves cheerful givers. Is a gift really a gift if it is given under pressure or is followed by regret? It is my privilege, as our director of giving and endowment, to receive wonderful gifts from you like this one (see photo) each week. Many folks have come to realize that generosity enriches the giver. We thank you for supporting our mission and ministries!
