Montreat Recap

Last month, 13 of our high school girls traveled to Montreat, North Carolina, with leaders Paul Lemon, Ellen Gatewood, and summer interns Madi and Lucy for a week in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.

Montreat is always a special week, and this year was no exception. Students spent their days in worship, listening to keynote speakers, meeting in small groups, and connecting with youth from across the country. Between meaningful conversations, plenty of laughter, and time spent enjoying the mountains, it was a week that encouraged our students to grow in their faith and deepen their relationships with one another. We’re grateful for a wonderful week together and for everyone who helped make it possible.

Summer Programs Are in Full Swing!

Summer programming is off to a great start! Each week, students are gathering for fun, connection, and meaningful time together. Whether it’s serving in the community, hanging out on the lawn, or sharing in conversation, it’s been a joy to watch relationships grow and memories be made.

We’re looking forward to more summer adventures, including Water Night, serving at Pete’s Garden, Mindfulness Night, and plenty of opportunities to gather together after Sunday evening programs. Remember to always check our instagram @villagepcyouth to stay up to date on the details of our latest programs.

There’s Still time for Denver!

There’s still time to sign up for our Middle School Mission Trip to Denver! Throughout the week, students will stay together at a local church while serving alongside nonprofit organizations that are making a direct impact in the Denver community. They’ll also have the chance to explore the city, enjoy a fun group activity, and build lasting friendships along the way. It’s a wonderful opportunity for middle school students to serve others, grow in their faith, and create memories they’ll carry with them long after the trip ends.

Trip Dates: July 25–30
Who: Completed 6th through completed 8th graders

If you have questions or need more information, please reach out. We’re looking forward to a great trip!
