sermon series: the Apostle’s Creed

In the early years of the church, Christians struggled with what to believe. The same could be said for our faith lives today. “We believe. Help our unbelief.” Pastor Rodger helped us examine and understand another section of the Apostle’s Creed Sunday. And what it means that Jesus was both fully God and fully human. If you missed it, find his sermon HERE.

green tip of the week:

Lowering your thermostat setting by even 1 degree for at least eight hours will save you money on your electric bill. Install a programmable or smart thermostat to automatically adjust the temperature when no one is home.

Giving

pray like you mean it

As you pray, remember the story in Mark 7 about the deaf man who is brought to Jesus. It says that Jesus, among other things, “looked to the heavens and said, ’ephphatha,‘” which means ‘be opened.’ Pray that in the coming months, our hearts, minds, hands, and eyes are opened as we consider how to invest in the transformative work of our church. We all have an important role to play.

Let’s stay connected.
