green tip of the week:

Dust light bulbs regularly. Dust can reduce the light output and energy efficiency of your bulbs. *Village Presbyterian Church is a certified Earth Care Congregation.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will. (Romans 12:2)

”It takes great self-control to not get swept up into the patterns and expectations of the world and instead to consider God in all things. It can be a hard question, though, to discern what is good and pleasing to God. What I know is that feeding people and welcoming the stranger will always be pleasing to God. What other things can you think of are part of God’s good, pleasing, and perfect will?“ –Rev. Maggie Johnson Phillips

Thanks to your generous giving, our Food Pantry at 99th and Mission Road serves 2,072 individuals every month!
