Service Trip to Kenya – June 9-20

Young adults Rev. Maggie Johnson Phillips, Ellen Gatewood, Lauren Packer, Kathleen Stanley, and Kennedy Krumm are among a group of 15 people from Village headed to Thwake, Kenya in June. The group will be led by Rev. Dr. David Nzioka, a Thwake native, former Village pastoral intern, and senior pastor of Neema Community Church in Olathe, KS.

Funds are needed to help cover the cost of a free, three-day medical clinic during our trip. We are almost 65% funded! About 1,500 men, women, and children with little or no access to medical care will be served. If you are able to financially contribute, please check out the Amazon Wish List or click the button below to donate. The Thwake Village Partnership Facebook page will be updated to capture the group’s journey! You can learn more about Thwake and our partnership with them HERE.
