Weekly Word

Prayer Vigil this Saturday
We invite you to join your pastors for a Prayer Vigil for our nation this Saturday, Jan. 31 in the chapel at our Mission Campus between 4-7 p.m. Drop by when you can. We will be here praying with you. From 5-5:30 p.m., there will be a brief service of prayer and music. If you cannot join us in person, we invite you to take time to pray wherever you are in the words of the Psalmist who sings in Psalm 5:
Listen to my words, O Lord; attend to my sighing.
Listen to the sound of my cry, my Sovereign and my God, for to you I pray.
For you are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil will not sojourn with you.
But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy.
Spread your protection over them, so that those who love your name may exult in you.
A new way to give
Your generosity is how we’re able to expand our reach and keep the lights on. We are excited to announce that there will be a new way to give at Village. We will begin to transition to a new giving platform, Pushpay, in late February, which will make giving simple—whether it is a one-time gift or recurring donations, including mobile and online options. More info coming soon!
