Summer Interns!

Madi Moormann
Madi was raised in Leawood, KS and was very involved with Village growing up. (Her parents even got married there!) She will be a sophomore at Creighton University in the Fall of ’26 and is studying chemistry. She is on the 3-3 Engineering track with WashU but is also considering other paths. At school she is involved with the Freshman Leadership Program (and will be a sophomore mentor next year), Kappa Kappa Gamma, bible study groups, and salsa club. She loves hanging out with friends and family, doing arts and crafts, and going for coffee/fun drinks like 7Brew and Swig! She is so excited to spend the summer with Village and give back to the community she grew up in. She can’t wait to meet everyone!
Lucy Minor
Lucy was born and raised in Prairie Village and has been involved at Village Church since preschool. In May, she will graduate from Kansas State University with a degree in Elementary Education. Outside of school, Lucy enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on walks, and dancing. Over the years, she’s loved mentoring youth at Village and watching them grow in faith and friendship. She’s looking forward to another great summer and the chance to pour back into the community that means so much to her!

Jack Vaughan
Jack is a sophomore at Northern Arizona University, double majoring in Physics and Astronomy. He is passionate about what he is studying. He has been going to Village for as long as he can remember and it has been an incredibly important community in his life and where he has met some of his closest friends. He is super excited to intern this summer and has always loved summer programs, and he is really looking forward to having some fun!
Maggie Wright
Maggie is from Leawood, Kansas and has been a part of Village Church her whole life. She’s currently attending the University of Kansas studying Elementary Education. In her free time she loves being active, hanging out with friends and family, and baking. Maggie has been involved in Sunday school and the youth program. Her favorite memory with Village Church is going on the Dominican Republic Mission Trip. She can’t wait to build relationships with everyone and have a great summer!
