LofterNews: May Youth Newsletter

A Lot to Celebrate
May is always a season full of meaningful milestones, and our youth ministry has so much to celebrate!
First, we want to recognize and celebrate our Confirmation class. Over the past months, these students have shown commitment, curiosity, and growth as they deepened their understanding of their faith. Whether they were recently confirmed or have just completed the class, we are incredibly proud of each of them for taking this important step in their spiritual journey. Please join us in encouraging and supporting them as they continue to grow in their faith.
We also want to extend a big congratulations to the Class of 2026! As graduation approaches, we celebrate not only your achievements in school but also who you’ve become along the way. This is an exciting and sometimes bittersweet season, and we are so proud of you. We’re praying for you as you step into what’s next and trust that God has great things in store for you.
There truly is a lot to celebrate this month!
Programs on Break and Looking Ahead to Summer
As we wrap up the school year, our regular youth programming will be taking a short break for the month. This pause gives everyone a chance to rest, reset, and enjoy the change of pace that summer brings.
We’re excited to share that our summer programming will start on Sunday, June 7, and we can’t wait to be back together!
Here’s what our summer schedule will look like:
- Gathering + Post Gathering Gathering | 6–12th grades, Sundays, 4:00–6:30 p.m.
- Middle School Mondays | 6–8th grades, Mondays, 7:00–9:00 p.m.
- High School Hangouts | 9–12th grades, Tuesdays, 7:00–9:00 p.m.
- Service Days | 6–12th grades, Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Summer is always a fun and meaningful season in our youth ministry, and we’re looking forward to all that’s ahead!
Intern Meet and Greet
Join us for a Summer Intern Meet & Greet on May 28 from 2:00–4:00 p.m. in Rooms 232 & 233!
This is a wonderful opportunity for our youth students to connect with this summer’s interns in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Come hang out, get to know the team, ask questions, and start building relationships that will carry through the season. We’ll have plenty of time to chat, laugh, and kick off the summer together in a fun and informal environment.
Don’t miss this chance to meet the amazing interns who will be part of your summer journey!
