We have completely re-tooled Wednesday evenings at Mission Campus with all ages in mind. Wednesdays@Village will begin on Sept. 16 and go through Nov. 18—ten weeks of dinners and faith programming for all. The evening starts in Friendship Hall at 5:30 p.m. with fresh, build-your-own meals that do not require an RSVP (suggested donation of $8 for adults). At 6:10 p.m., programs begin for everyone, including an adult faith formation class. Elementary-aged children and youth will be engaged with dynamic programs planned by our staff. Child care will be offered for children ages 0-5. All programming wraps up at 7 p.m.
On third Wednesdays, dinner is free and everyone remains in Friendship Hall to participate in fun group activities or service projects led by a Village pastor or staff person.

Adult Class Schedule
Sept. 16 – All In: Kickoff*
Sept. 23 – Media Literacy with Brian Bracco
Village Church member and avid volunteer, Brian Bracco, will lead our discussion about where people (of all ages, the tech-savvy right along with those grieving the morning paper) get their news and how to differentiate fact-based news from other options in our various forms of media.
Sept. 30-Oct. 14 – Minor Prophets with Rev. Alice Whitson
Over the course of three weeks, Rev. Alice Whitson will dive deeper into the world of the Old Testament prophets as Pastor Rodger leads us in a sermon series on the same topic. Specifically, we will explore some of the lesser known “minor prophets” whose impact on Israel’s story, and Christian theology, is no less vivid or worthy of reflection than their “major” counterparts. Sound boring? It won’t be! Come for the raging against the machine, stay for the countless reminders of God’s steadfast love despite our innumerable imperfections.
Oct. 21 – All In: Festi-Fall*
Oct. 28-Nov. 4 – The Revelation of John with Rev. Dr. Rodger Nishioka
As a part of his sabbatical, Rev. Dr. Rodger Nishioka visited the Greek island of Patmos, the location in which it is widely thought that the apocalyptic vision which would be canonized as the Biblical book of Revelation took place. Spend two weeks with this book and with our pastor to see what word God might have through it for us today.
Nov. 11 – Aging in Place with Kay Findlay
Presented by Kay Findlay, this class introduces practical ways older adults can remain safe, independent, and engaged in their own homes. The session covers simple strategies to make routines easier and safer. Participants learn about home safety considerations, adaptive equipment, home modifications, and fall prevention techniques. The class empowers individuals with practical, evidence-based tips for a safer, healthier home.
Nov. 18 – All In: Friendsgiving*
*All ages remain in Friendship Hall after dinner.
