What is Stephen Ministry?
Stephen Ministers are members of Village Church who are specially trained to listen, care and support people who are going through tough times. Care is tailored to individual needs and can address issues like grief, illness, divorce, or job loss through weekly meetings that continue as long as needed. This one-to-one Christian care is confidential and available to church members and the wider community at no cost. Stephen Ministry, headquartered in St. Louis, is a global organization offering spiritual aid to over 1.5 million individuals across 13,000 congregations.

50th Anniversary Event
All those whose lives have been touched by Stephen Ministry are invited to the Mission Campus on Saturday, April 25 to celebrate a five-decade anniversary with speakers, resources, fellowship, and more! The event includes a light breakfast and refreshments and is $15 per person. Optional box lunches are available for $12. Village Church is excited to host this community-wide event.

Be a listening ear for someone experiencing life’s difficulties. Applications to volunteer as a Stephen Minister are accepted year round. 50 hours of required training is provided by the church for Stephen Ministry certification.
