Preschool Overview
Welcome to the Village Church Preschool! We are committed to meeting each child where they are in their development. We strive to provide an atmosphere where each child feels safe and able to learn skills at their own rate. We acknowledge that you, the parents, are the child’s first and most significant teachers. We seek to add to the foundation that you have started building at home.
Our goal is to nurture the growth of the whole child by providing a comprehensive curriculum and supportive atmosphere that fosters social, emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual development.
Our Curriculum
Antioch Campus Preschool employs a Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP) curriculum to foster comprehensive growth in children. Children develop problem-solving abilities and independence through play and are supported at their individual developmental level. By taking responsibility for their actions, children learn to make age-appropriate decisions, empowering them in their learning journey.

Our Director
Paula Benefiel has served as director of the Antioch Campus Preschool since August 2005. She grew up in Shawnee, Kansas and attended Shawnee Mission Northwest High School. She received her B.A. in Elementary Education with an emphasis in special education from Pittsburg State University.
