Officers

Session

The Session is the governing board of the congregation. Twenty-nine elders and elder trustees sit on Session and are elected by the congregation. Elders are responsible for the total spiritual welfare of the congregation.

Elder trustees perform elder duties and are the corporate officers responsible for fiscal matters, buildings and grounds, and other matters referred by the Session.

Deacons

Deacons provide hospitality and care by greeting and welcoming people to worship, through sharing The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper with church members who are home-bound and cannot physically attend worship in person, and by reaching out (with phone calls, cards and flowers) to church members who have recently been hospitalized or are going through a difficult time.
