Baptism
Infants & Young Children
Baptism is the beginning of claiming the importance of God in the life of your child, and the importance of the family of God to surround your child. Parents affirm their own faith in Jesus Christ and to teach their child the faith. The congregation also commits to nurture the child in their faith. We are excited about this beginning of your child’s life of faith, and look forward to years of ministry together.

Adult Baptism
In the Presbyterian Church (USA), we practice both adult and infant baptism. We baptize adults upon their own profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We affirm that people come to faith at different stages in life, and recognize the baptism of older believers as an equally valid expression of the sacrament.
