Happy Birthday, Village Church!

The Heritage Committee invites you to stop by the Welcome Center, Friendship Hall, or Fellowship Hall (at Antioch) after worship on Feb. 8 for a sweet treat to celebrate 77 years of Village Presbyterian Church, which was founded Feb. 13, 1949.

“Here for Good” Sermon Series

We have a cherished legacy of 77 years of faith at Village Church, and by God’s grace, we hope to be here for generations to come. To meet the needs of the present and to prepare for the opportunities of the future, our Session has approved the launch of a capital campaign beginning this month through 2028. The campaign hopes to raise $8 million dollars to expand and strengthen our mission and ministries, improve and make safe our gathering and learning spaces, be better stewards of God’s creation, and show to all that they are welcome and belong. In this sermon series beginning Sunday, we will explore the campaign’s theme: Here for Good.

more than a feeling.

Love is an action.

Many people wait for Valentine’s to display care and affection for others. But as Christians, we are called to love God and love our neighbors all the time—not simply on one calendar day. Giving is not limited to one season either. Everything we have comes from God, so we are invited to adopt a continual practice of giving, a way of life that mirrors how we follow Christ throughout the year
