Y.A.M. NIGHT– 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesdays. All 20s and 30s are invited to join us every week as we gather, play games, study Scripture, and one another. Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. in Friendship Hall, around 6:15 we’ll move to the Young Adult Room (8) for programming. Come as often as you can—we’d love to have you!
CONNECT GROUPS– Ongoing, monthly. Interested in a small group Bible study opportunity to deepen your faith and relationships with others? This year’s study created by Pastor Rodger is “Jesus’ Beatitudes: Blessing for Our Life Today.” Groups are just getting started for the year, so if you’re interested in joining one, sign up HERE.
FALL RETREAT– Friday, Nov. 7- Sunday, Nov. 9. Join us for a weekend away when we’ll spend time hiking, exploring, resting, and examining our faith. The cost is $100, and we’ll be there from Friday evening to early Sunday afternoon. Come for a time of laughter, joy, deep questions, and meaningful connection. Sign up HERE.
MANNA RETREAT– Thursday, Jan. 22-Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026. We’re headed to the mountains! Join us for time in Montreat, NC with young adults across the country as we spend the weekend in worship, small groups, recreation and more. Cost $450 (includes flight, room and meals during the conference). You won’t want to miss it! REGISTER by Nov. 15.
Parent Corner
PICNIC IN THE PARK – 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11. Young adults with kiddos, bring the whole family to the newly renovated Village playground on the south end of the Mission Campus for an evening of food, fellowship and fun. No cost, but sign up HERE. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll move inside to the Young Adult Room!
PARENTS GROUP – 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12. Parents and their littles are invited to the Young Adult space on the second Wednesday each month for faith, fellowship, and food with Pastor Maggie.
OPEN PLAY TIME – 9-noon, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Grownups and their littles are welcome to come play in the kid nook in our Young Adult Room until noon. Grab a coffee while you’re there!
Around Village
MEN’S BIBLE & BREAKFAST WITH RODGER – 8-9 a.m. Tuesdays, Oct. 14 – Dec. 2. Join together with other men for fellowship, a hot breakfast and Bible study led by Rev. Dr. Rodger Nishioka. This eight-week study will explore the ministry of the Apostle Paul from his early life as a persecutor of Christians to his conversion on the road to Damasus and his missionary journeys. ALL SAINTS DAY REMEMBERANCE WALL– Starting Sunday, Nov. 2, bring a photo and/or add the name or your loved one to the wall in the Welcome Center. This loving tribute to those that have gone before us will remain on display through Nov. 22.
POINSETTIA DELIVERY– Help is needed on Saturday, Dec. 6 to deliver poinsettias to homebound, ill, or hospitalized Village members. If you are willing to help deliver one or two, please contact Linda Alley at 913-671-2327 or .
