LofterNews: April Youth Newsletter

Palm Sunday and Holy Week

This Palm Sunday marked a meaningful moment for our youth as they participated in the 11 a.m. palm parade alongside the choir during their final confirmation class. Their presence in worship was a beautiful reflection of their growth in faith and their active role in the life of the church. We are so proud of the way they continue to show up, serve, and lead.

As part of their Holy Week journey, the group also gathered for a Last Supper meal where they walked through the events of the week together. This time of reflection helped deepen their understanding of the story at the heart of our faith and invited thoughtful conversation as they connected it to their own lives.

Paul Lemon

We are pleased to share that Paul Lemon has been appointed as our new Associate Youth Director. Paul has faithfully served our church community for many years as a dedicated youth volunteer, and more recently as Youth Band Director and front desk receptionist. His consistent presence, leadership, and care for our students have made a lasting impact.

We are excited to welcome Paul into this role within the youth ministry and look forward to the ways he will continue to guide and invest in our students. Please join us in celebrating this new chapter and supporting Paul as he steps into this position. His first day will be April 13.
