Musical Discovery
A pre-concert musical discovery course will explore the musical and theological dimensions of
Mendelssohn’s St. Paul, including stories encountered in the oratorio: the stoning of Stephen, the
conversion of Saul, and the flowering of the early church. Instructors: Ryan Board and Mark Ball. Wednesday, February 18. 6:30-8:00pm. Room 15.
“St. Paul,” an oratorio by Felix Mendelssohn – Participants in this class are invited and encouraged to attend the free concert on Sunday, March 1, 5:00pm, at Village Church where this piece will be performed by the Village Choir and Orchestra. Conducted by Ryan Board.
