First Steps to Speaking Spanish
Imagine yourself speaking Spanish! You will be surprised at how well you can communicate on a variety of topics in a rudimentary way after just eight weeks. These sessions are designed for beginning students with little or no experience. The emphasis will be on oral communication. Learning will take place in a stress-free environment. Taught by Joan Caulfield, a former Spanish instructor on channel 19 and in both middle and high school. Tuesdays, January 6, 13, 20, 27 and February 3, 10, 17 and 24. 7:00-8:30pm. Room 132.
Conversational Spanish
Want to brush up your Spanish skills? This mixed level conversational Spanish class, with an emphasis on conversational, will help you sharpen those skills. Taught by Jay Clark, long-time Spanish instructor and Village Church member. Mondays, March 9 – May 4. 9:30–11:00am. Room 15. Students are expected to purchase their own copy of the textbook, Spanish Made Simple, which is available at Barnes & Noble or Borders bookstore.
